What we collect, why, who it’s shared with, and how to have it deleted — in plain English. The short version: we use your data to run Adsyst for you, and nothing else.

01Who we are

Adsyst is made by New Horizon Software Ltd, a company in the United Kingdom. We decide how and why your personal data is used, so under UK data protection law we are its controller.

Questions about this policy or your data: hello@horizonsoftware.co.uk.

02What we collect

  • Your account: your name, email address and password. We store the password only as a secure hash, never as you typed it.
  • Your brand: what you tell us and what we read from your website — your products, prices, photos, tone of voice and customers — so your agents can make content that fits.
  • What you make with Adsyst: your goals, conversations with your agents, the posts and images they make, your approvals and edits, and your posting schedule.
  • Connected social accounts: when you connect TikTok, Instagram or LinkedIn, the account’s ID, name and profile picture, the access tokens that let us post for you, the posts we publish and their performance figures (such as views, likes and shares).
  • Connected sales tools: when you connect a tool such as Stripe, Shopify, Gumroad or App Store Connect, the sales, revenue and product data we need to see which posts lead to sales.
  • Login details you give us for a service, so your agents can work with it on your behalf.
  • Technical data: the cookies that keep you signed in, and server logs (such as IP address and request times) that keep the service secure and working.

03How we use it

  • To run Adsyst for you: learn your brand, make content, publish it to the accounts you connect, and measure what it sells.
  • To keep your account secure and the service working, and to fix problems.
  • To reply when you contact us, and to tell you about important changes to the service.

We use your data because we need it to provide the service you signed up for, and where we have a legitimate interest in keeping it secure and working well. We don’t sell your data, and we don’t use it for advertising.

04TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn

We only access a social account after you connect it and approve the permissions it asks for. We use what we get from each platform only to publish the posts you or your agents create, and to show you how they perform. We don’t use it for anything else, and we don’t share it with anyone except as described in this policy.

You can disconnect an account at any time from Accounts in Adsyst. You can also remove Adsyst’s access from the platform itself — for Instagram, in its settings under apps and websites. When an account is removed from Instagram this way, we delete the data we hold from it, and you can check the progress on our data deletion page.

Your use of each platform is also covered by its own terms and privacy policy, and we follow their developer policies for the data they give us.

05Who we share it with

We use a small number of trusted providers to run Adsyst. They only process your data to provide their service to us:

  • AI providers — to understand your brand, write and plan posts, make images and run your agents. We send them only what each task needs.
  • Cloud infrastructure providers — to store images and files, and to read websites for your agents.
  • Our hosting providers — to run the website, app and database.
  • The platforms you connect — we send TikTok, Instagram and LinkedIn the posts you ask us to publish.

We may also share data where the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.

06Data outside the UK

Some of our providers are based outside the UK, mainly in the United States. Where your data leaves the UK, we rely on the legal safeguards UK law recognises for this, such as the International Data Transfer Addendum.

07Keeping it safe

Data travels over encrypted connections. Access tokens for your social accounts, and any login details you give us, are encrypted before we store them, and only used to do what you asked. Each account can only ever see its own brands, posts and connections.

08How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. If you disconnect an account or tool, we stop collecting from it. If you ask us to delete your account, we delete your data within 30 days, except anything the law requires us to keep for longer.

09Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you can ask us to:

  • give you a copy of your data;
  • correct data that’s wrong;
  • delete your data;
  • limit or object to how we use it;
  • send your data to you or another service in a common format.

Email hello@horizonsoftware.co.uk and we’ll respond within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

10Cookies

We only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.

11Children

Adsyst is for businesses and isn’t meant for anyone under 18.

12Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change matters, we’ll tell you by email or in Adsyst before it takes effect.
